One of the most peculiar habits by Kenyans is the ability to outdo each other in trying to impress guests aka foreigners. Perhaps this only ranks second to our uncanny behaviour of telling on each other to the same foreigners. To what end,it still remains a mystery to me. Not one to disappoint on this was one Baset Buyuka of NTV.I watched him make a dash to scoop the medal as he shot the all too familiar questions/assertions to the US Secretary of State. Turns out Big Bro was not on the same wave length. When will we stop looking up to others to do our laundry?

@Magigi,
Domestics are best dealt with at home.No one is ever congratulated for bearing it all in public. If you do so,you risk becoming the laughing stock.

I couldn't help but notice that while in Kenya,Mrs Clinton dressed in black for all the three days.In S.A,she was dressed in bright colours,light blue and green.In Angola,she was in white. Its never lost on many observers that America never wastes any opportunities or moments to communicate both to friend and foe. In Kenya she was here to covey a terse message ostensibly from our long lost bro on governance.In S.A she was there to thaw diplomatic relations while in Angola she is seeking more investment opportunities in oil et al. I find the USA very santimonious in pursuit of their foreign interests. BTW I heard that they are not signitories of the Rome statute that establishes the ICC....They always recommend it for their foes.
