A few dissappointments, I must say; but I have come to expect it when it comes to things to do with politics. Except for a couple of choices the nominees look like they have the skills and expertise for the job. I have some issues with ethnic balance especially the preponderance of the Kyuks,Kales and Somalis, but I can't say I expected much better. All in all, I would give the choices a B if I was doing the grading. They are good enough! You must take care of your strongholds.

This must be the only cabinet in the world overflowing with Professors, PhDs, MSCs, MAs, MBAs. Well done. The future looks bright.
Seems a Bachelors degree can never take you far....unless you are a coalition partner like Ngilu, Balala.

If Ngilu passed the EACC integrity test that UhuRuto ordered, she will pass the Committee of Appointment stage and the whole House. By the way, Hon. Sesily is a member of the Committee of Appointments

Please compare the Kenyan population of the different groups and shares allocated for our consideration. I care!

Looks like at least 1 person from lower Eastern has to pitia katikati, albeit with the whole world wondering what is wrong with so n so. Kupitia katikati is like a relay baton.

All in all, I would give the choices a B if I was doing the grading. They are good enough! You are right. In retrospect it would have been a disaster politically to exclude Ngilu and Balala. From initial grapevine, word was that half would be ex politicians and half non-politicians, so at least the larger share has gone to technocrats. In my opinion, the most deserving is Engineer Kamau, a known performer in the former Ministry of Roads Shak I fully support your sentiments. Ngilu and Balala were part of the 4 pillars in Jubilee and they fought hard despite being in a competitor strongholds.Effort deserves reward especially in politics. In addition, choices were limited in this two areas. Eastern and Coast are a lmost to a man in the competitor party.
Just wondering what Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka is thinking? are you sure of this When I have money, I get rid of it quickly, lest it find a way into my heart.

This is Uhuruto's personal cabinet to assist them conduct their business. All novices, tribally imbalanced "sitting ducks" who can have a business scandel thrown their way(the hugest job related purchase some of them may have signed is for an office copier) except Uhuruto, Ngilu, Balala and possibly Aden and the two blank cabinet offices all of whom know how to mix politics, tribes, business, and the cabinet. An inordinate number of muslim and women cabinet appointees, Uhuru of to coast, to a carrot stick campaign for the two blank posts (Mwakwere), then maybe turkana, maasailand e.t.c, at stake is oilo and other money. No politics inside cabinet, hiyo ni kazi ya Uhuruto!Yikes! Ras Kienyeji Man
