However, KQ finance director Alex Mwangi has said that they will deliver a modest profit in FYR. That means in H2 they managed to reverse the H1 loss of KES 4.8B. Was wondering how they were able to do that > Derivatives¿ Those derivatives must be it. #FYR Expectations

They've played that game for too long... $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

If KQ is going to break-even OR make a slight profit for FY 2012-13 ... it is a HUGE plus. Though I have my doubts. It had to re-hire (court order) all the staff it had sacked.
