This is udboutedly the greatest ever assembled marathon elite team: Geoffrey Mutai the man who ran the fastest marathon ever, Patrick Makau the world record holder, Wilson Kipsang the defending champion, missed Makau’s world record by 4 seconds, Emmanuel Mutai the course record holder, Stephen Kiprotich the Ugandan crowned olympic champion on the same course not to mention a host of Ethiopians who have run sub 2.06 times.

Will it be Makau who on his day can destroy any filed or Kipsang who is out to revenge on Kiprotich for the defeat in Olmpympics. I also hear on flat courses, Mutai Geoffrey can run like a crazy man!

Who is your money on?
As long as you're going to be thinking anyway, think big

The race will probably be won by someone completely new from your list above.

A marathon is a marathon, my friend.

Plus, the days when Kenyans could dominate their challengers by sheer mental force seem to be ending. Uganda's Kiprotich showed Kenyans are beatable. Ref: Boston, men's result
