Land purchase can be quite addictive ,maybe its the thrill of sleeping and knowing You have a piece of property somewhere that excites. My advice is just conduct due diligence before purchase.

@Mesfraja, 80kms from Rongai is approx Magadi town. By pass to Suswa is most likely to be half that distance. In magadi an acre should be less the quoted amount - aprrox 40k

80k for an acre that is 80km from Kiserian is definately on the higher side. There is a guy an acre for 90k at Tinga which is 40km from Kiserian. Is this a deal? In these kind of deals who pays the legal fees and surveyors fees? The greater southern bypass passes much nearer to KIserian, probably 25km from Kiserian since it has to go via saikeri, ewaso kedong then on to Suswa..

Mosby - How is the vegetation and climate of Tinga? Hot and dry like Kisames area or Rongai type.

@mosby, how far is the land from Tinga Center. I understand the interest in that area is increasing due to the low prices and a Jimna Mbarus relative (not sure bro or nephew) owns a huge chunk of land there. But i guess the vegetation and climate would be similar to Kisamis. Any more info is welcome.
