Just wondering....

Now that CORD's confidence in the SC seems to have waned, what will happen in 2017?

Supposing, the election is contested again and assuming CORD is the aggrieved party once again, what will happen? Tutarudi huko SC ama saa hiyo itakuwa justified 'hatuendi kortini, we have no confidence in the courts'

Mind you getting rid of a whole SC is not that easy with the new constitution.

You should be asking yourself what another party will do kama sio CORD!!!! CORD will accept the IEBC announcement and MOVE ON!!!

Maybe another coalition will give the SC a chance.

As for CORD, they have already been 'bitten once'....will they be ready to be 'bitten twice' or they would rather be 'twice shy'?

Twice shy apana, the IEBC decision will be final, that's how it flows mblo!!!

You should know that TNA will rule for a minimum of 10 years irrespective of what you wish. You can take this to the International Bank!!!!!

That can only be accpeted at the Faulu bank, Gachie branch!!!!

Fortunately you have never got it right on the presidency.

As a subjective a conclusion as they can ever come!!!!

Wazua admin is as pedestrian as it comes. If that is what was posted.

The issue here is not the loss of the case. I think I had informed CORD fellows here that there was no way they were going to win that petition with the arguments they were making.

The issue is what Kausha, for those who can read, has expounded on.

If we have a supreme court that makes such "pedestrian" rulings as is evidenced from their report, then you have to wonder where we are heading to.

If it is true that this ruling included things that do not occur in football as a basis or foundation of any part of the pages (i can't call them rulings anymore), then as a country we are in trouble.

A supreme court is supposed to have minds that can conjour a good reason even when they are wrong.

In this case, they may have been right, but they used shady tactics and reasoning to come up with their decision. That, is a tragedy in this story.

But of course, we love going back to TNA/Odm upus.

These judges failed big time and they know it. Being the laughing stock in both the developed world and even Nigeria, is not a funny matter.

@alma,whatever I put out there is verbatim from the judgement on the Kenya Law reports which is where Hon. CJ told us to find the judgement. I am looking for great legal minds to 'fafanua' that extract because I understand law well, I have decent experience in ICT and I am a sport addict. Now my simple understanding of the queen's language tells me if those paragraphs came from the SC we are in serious trouble and this should rouse the curiosity of jubilee supporters. There is no way a decent supreme court would ridicule itself with such literature. There paragraphs contain lies in the analogies, the analogy actually is the opposite of the argument SC is advancing. We bring technology to enhance the work of the referee. The referee doesn't set up the technology to fail as is written there and we bring in such an analogy!

Either way, we are in a big quandary. We thought we were reforming the Judiciary clearly we are not. Obviously the jokes carried out at the Police Service cannot be called reforms and Certainly Tobiko can only bark no reforms there as well. I posit that at some future time we will have to revisit that constitution. We need to appreciate that the constitution was made for and sooner or latter we will realize there is nothing working in it. Heck even devolution looks constipated. How do you have DC's and PC's lording of Governors. By December those Governors will look more like disgruntled glorified Mayors as opposed to popularly elected Governors. The other thing is with the Judiciary appearing to follow the Police to the woods what if UK and WSR who have decent control of both houses decide to change the term of the presidency where do we go to?
