How is tea production doing in Kenya? Where can I get more information as to specific areas e.g. Central,Nandi, etc?

The Central Bureau of Statistics publishes monthly reports titled leading indicators - this gives global production figures. As to specific areas, perhaps the Tea Board of Kenya could supply you with figures. Could you let us know if you are succesful?

General figures don't help much. Global production is helpful but tea is not always traded on 'open' exchanges. Pakistan always threatens to buy their tea elsewhere when Kenya does not buy their rice. Likewise, some types are preferred since they have a name. Darjeeling of India has done well to create a brand.
*** I will have to see if CBS can help.
