This may happen if say iron box is left on by mistake say when the mboch is off duty you go to church...
What is wish to know is the following:
If I was to purchase enough units to last say 4 months and I then purchase more units at the fourth month, would I be charged the monthly charge "in arrears" or would I pay it only for the fourth month?

The monthly charge will come in arrears. Since the price of the units change every month I don't think its advisable to buy many units at a go.
Conventional thinkers waste time building shelters when they are unnecessary and then have no shelters when they need them the most. Socionomists do the opposite.

I noticed once during a power outage that my units had reduced in the course of the outage. Also had 12 units deducted at a go yet I wasn't operating any industrial machinery.

I too hate the prepaid meters. Sometimes I use up to 5k a month yet before the much I could use was 2k. I complained to K P L C and they worked on it kidodo. I have a feeling sme meters like mine r faulty.

some of these meters are like safcom simcards... maybe you have subscribed to some funny services that keep deducting your units without knowing....
