Wrong observation Sir!

Uhuru and Ruto are playing mature.

This must have been the most humbling experience for the opposition duo.That after all the immature name calling and actions by old men, they were invited by the winning young men for discussions and job offers.

But if this is what it takes to heal the country, I accept it and move on.

@tokyo
Yes the country is seriously sick from negative ethnicity and divisive politics.

We need a cure from the 'us vs them' syndrome.

UK,WR,RO & KM doing a good job so far in uniting the country, Iam sure western countries are surprised that Kenya is moving on.

In 2007 we got into campaign mode immediatly for 4 years.

according to The Star they are offering him special envoy position. Other offers include mobilizing parliament to give him a retirement package similar to Kibaki.

I doubt he'll turn down this one, he gets to keep his security detail including chase cars, diplomatic passport, VIP treatment etc.

Iam sure this will come with a rider that he retires from active politics and be an elder statesman just like Desmond Tutu etc.

Do you realize that he'll be the most respectable senior citizen after Moi and Kibs. So yes, he deserves good treatment.

Respect? I dont think so. He commands a lot of pitty. Lets not forget the kind of utterences the pm made during compaigns and after the ellections.
Its also shame for a country to abandon a senior politician regardless of the state of mind of the man or woman so he must be given a job. I dont see him as an envoy because we all know the AU wont respect him as he will be seen as a western stooge. His checkered political past can best be described by his own word "enigma"

Jesse Jackson: "Raila Odinga is remarkable. A global citizen. He goes to the UN. Magic. He addresses a group of top world investors at Davos. Magic. He is an amazing man. He will not go quietly in the night"

Politics is just things to keep the people divided and foolish and put your trust in men and none of them can do nothing for you...

Ngai some people here are really obsessed with politics in general and rao in particular. Luckily pres.Kenyatta does not suffer from the same delusion some wazuans are showing here. Rao got 5.3 million votes. Uhuru knows this constituency matters and thats why he is reaching out. Jesee jackson reckons rao can do the magic of swinging the western support to kenya. Some wazuans think what matters is the endorsement of AU. If you need someone to talk to the AU, anyone can hack it and i mean anyone; kalembe ndile, dennis itumbi, maina njenga,kamlesh pattni. No brains,skills or charm is required there. Its the USA and EU, from whence our forex comes from that matters. Get it? or you have discovered a new way of forcing the chinese to buy our coffee,tea,flowers and send 3million tourists annually.
