During the last elections, the late Kivuitu was largely seen as the scapegoat. This time round as loser retreat to lick their wounds and strategize for the future political battles, they are spoilt for choice on who to finger for the blame.

So who should take six of the best whips on his posteriors for that big loss and made to run around the block 12 times? Should it be Miguna and his hard hitting books? IEBC? Supreme Court? Lawyer Oraro for the dismal performance in courtroom? Musalia for splitting the votes? Generation change? Tyranny of Numbers for the massive Tsunami? CORD's own voter apathy? Take your pick! [/quote

in my opinion jubilee was a real team, they had a certain chemistry. check out this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I31P8UhZH7U all jubilee adverts were 'team' adverts they were not Uhuru adverts as opposed to CORD adverts. Lets face it, RAO and Kalooser were never equals... it was a RAILA government would ensure that X....

Then came the infamous 'Choices have consequences' which pushed many of the undecideds to vote Uhuruto. And if the pollsters are to be believed the percentage of undecideds was big and had the power to tilt the result in either of the front runners favour

Could someone please enlighten me on Ida's contribution to Cord's loss. Does it have anything to do with some talk about curtain shopping?

I don't think Raila lost this election. I would rather say Uhuru won it. Here is why:

Remember during the campaigns the number of times you heard Uhuru say "Nawaomba kwa unyenyekevu kura zenu" or something to that effect and the guy looked like he was really begging.

Watch this video and see if you can see humility and total respect, try count the number of times you hear Uhuru say "Thank you" and "Yes Sir" and "Your excellency".

Watch and observe the reaction of the women where you work or in your family at the mention of the name Uhuru Kenyatta. I don't know whether it is the combination of wealth, voice, looks and now power but this guy has a special touch with women.

How now..guys take elections too seriously..kamwana being in power does not add ugali to my plate..

A reasonable person cannot win an election in a country where unreasonable people outnumber reasonable people, in a country where people are willing to sabotage their interest in order to prove a point or in order to have their tribe's men elected. I watched the election outcome with alot of pity, maybe I was naive but come on, 98% people in RV and Central agree with Uhuru and only 2% agree with Raila whereas 98% of people in Nyanza agree with Raila and 2%agree with Uhuru?
