Ok, Ok, Ok...

I know that elections are over but true to our Kenyan Spirit, the blame game and finger pointing has already started. Top legal eagle Ahmednasir Abdullahi has given CORD not more than one month before it fragments into oblivion. Reason? He said in his Twitter account that the union was held together by one main agenda- to win the elections- but now that they lost with nearly one million votes, it's inevitable they will melt.

But the million dollar swali is this: Just why did Raila lose the election which should have been his for the taking? He should have thrashed UhuRuto because initially it was thought almost impossible for a Kiuk to succeed a fellow Kiuk and furthermore the "dynamic duo" were battling another front- the ICC and it's weighty charges.

During the last elections, the late Kivuitu was largely seen as the scapegoat. This time round as loser retreat to lick their wounds and strategize for the future political battles, they are spoilt for choice on who to finger for the blame.

So who should take six of the best whips on his posteriors for that big loss and made to run around the block 12 times? Should it be Miguna and his hard hitting books? IEBC? Supreme Court? Lawyer Oraro for the dismal performance in courtroom? Musalia for splitting the votes? Generation change? Tyranny of Numbers for the massive Tsunami? CORD's own voter apathy? Take your pick!

The sole reason why Raila lost to UK is because more people voted UK than those who voted RAO.

maka,
When you say presidency by theft do you mean the Supreme court is also part of it since they should have realised the anomaly and have ordered for a re-run?

1.UMK was ordained from above.(Remember the prophecies, the Mugumo tree..etc etc)

2.RAOs time was up:Siku ya nyani ikifika miti yote huteleza.

3.The arrogance of Nyongo Nyongo,Kajwang,Ababu and Madam Ida worsened the situation.

4.Poor performance during his Nusu Mkate tenure.

5.Digitital/Generational revolution

5.Then Tyranny sealed it.

RAO lost terribly after the party nominations where he could not solve small party wrangles and actually made CORD look like his club. A good number of his followers left his camp. After the story of Shebesh n Sonko campaigning for Jimnah, UK got some more votes due to the way he handled the issue. Let's also not forget in most campaigns, RAO and company were busy trying to tarnish UK & WSR names....actually even calling them names, while on the other side, UK & WSR were busy wooing voters, by selling their manifestos.Above all, CORD guys were not humble even when addressing a crowd as compared to Jubilee. RAO actually neva saw Jubilee as a competitor, all through, RAO knew he would be the next PORK. Nobody but him ( RAO) spoil t for himself..... God lifts the humble! He should actually be happy on the SC ruling, since if by any chance we went back to voting, even getting 1/2 of what he got could have been a miracle. This may have being as a result of the way he behaved after UK was named president elect. He came out as the real him, throwing insults...

Interesting observations guys and thanks for your time.

Washiku- I can see you are still faithful to Wazua after all these years, congrats. Let's remember that elections are not won or lost on voting day BUT months and weeks before the actual casting of the ballot! Funny enough I have 'Corded' friends who are going as far as blaming the opinion polls for misleading them to their contention and one strangely blames Arap Moi!

Whatever the case and whoever to blame, we now have a constitutionally recognized Govt under Uhuru and Ruto. This Govt has been recognized by vast majority of Kenyans, President Obama, UN chief Ban Ki Moon, African Union, IGAD, Supreme Court, Various local and international observers, IEBC, East African Community.....and the list is endless.

I wish the new administration all the best in uniting and developing this great country. One Kenya- One People!
