Welcome to the axeman or right taxman! your pin number is the only identifier and those in authority know it.you only have to print the registration certificate from the site as proof,as with other e-docs no signature is appended.

@TRS:

Now look for about 30k and get yourself an ETR. Attach ETR receipts to all invoices then no one will ever doubt that you are indeed registered.

Now about that ETR,what would happen if one budget day the minister ordered that the VAT rate be changed from 16% to,say,15%?

Would there be enough time for all VAT collectors to get their ETRs re-programmed to the new rate?

This is one of my biggest fears regarding ETRs

@ The Real Shaft: Those instructions by flipthecoin are true. The Taxpayer Registration Certificate is e-generated and you can print it from any internet browser. It has a document number and a remark at the bottom that reads 'This certificate is computer generated and therefore not signed. It is valid certificate issued under the authority of KRA.' Taxpayer data included in the certificate include Tax Obligation,Contact information,and Activity. Looks like KRA is embracing technology in its operations. Just printed mine this morning and glad i din't have to endure those long queues at Times Towers.
