I agree with you. he has a point but i think he's addressing it wrongly.... how about addressing it to UK/WR to look into it? He cant issue orders to them not to abide with the directives they have been given, am sure he can look for other ways of doing it unless he wants to make the governments "ungovernable". I do honestly believe, if he was in power, and anyone tried to say the same things, he'd not take it kindly. that said, why again is Kidero not occupying the PM's office? I thought we built a VP's residence which has his office there? Why cant WR use that office? I think we waste so much resources in this country! WR should stick to the Karen (current) VP offices. If he does not want to use it, how about donating it to Kidero to use it, am sure he can still do a good job working from there. Or better still they could share the former PM office which I believe is large enough. The man who marries a beautiful woman, and the farmer who grows corn by the roadside have the same problem

@Wendz refreshing, better said.
Truthfully, I'm quite delighted with a Jubilee government.
Similarly, I'm very comfortable with the role of Opposition in a democracy. CORD should get accustomed to it for the health of the nation. Hence their leaders critique government, raise issues of public interest, keep checks and balances.
What in fact does the greatest harm to our nation is sycophancy.

Whatever we do or say, let's remember not to sabotage our own interest because we like so and so or we don't like so and so. My choice for president was based solely on who will advance my best interest.
I agree with Muganda ~ What in fact does the greatest harm to our nation is sycophancy ~. Anyone who would claim that these politician, Uhurutto or RAO care about us first then them later is just another sycophant, they care about them first then us later. Before we make any comment against or to support any of our leaders, let us think through it first and ask ourselve if it advance our best interest.

Drunkard Rollout. ANd they should know that we elected Governor not because he's so and so... but because we want him to work for all us. That's why those elected or not elected the president expect him to work for all of us.

limanika wrote:The roles of national government and county government are distinct and clearly spelt out in the constitution I do not see why someone should create a mountain out of a mole hill. If the president, as the leader of national government sees a need to appoint local representatives to coordinate national government functions at county level, why is there a problem? Do you want to consign the president’s jurisdiction to state house only? On the issue of office and flags I also do not see why the obsession and I will go with EK. He said which building the office is located is not important he can even work on the roadside. The most important thing is to deliver. Let one governor come out and tell us how and when a county commissioner interfered with his work. ditto! oAR can only advise now not DICTATE!! Central Gaarment has to oversee the security for the entire country as a whole and also if am not wrong, they will be collecting taxes. i.am.back!!!!

I think the former PM's office should be shared out to several offices.

Looking at it from monetary perspective, only 15% of the county's budget willgo to the counties, the rest is still controlled from treasury. We can't ignore that part. There shall still be central govts activities across the country that shall require supervision. On Rao, he has all the rights to criticize the govt where it goes wrong, but he can't order the governors. I doubt even the president can issue such orders to them. His powers to order r long gone. He can only oppose, advise etc just Like wazuans
