I beg to differ @ Newfarer. They are refering to what he said to BBC.If he had not talked that way nobody would be hitting at him.

I do not advocate for locking him up but I have now appreciated why Moi did certain things to him.

Hope he stays longer wherever he had gone and when he is back total blackout by media.

Meanwhile all counsellors need to get to Nyanza ASAP for mass counselling .
Let us all be alert, God bless Kenya.

Okay @Bigchick you're points were put across better. But only if your point of view extends equally to how Moi treated Matiba/Rubia would I pay heed.

Otherwise that becomes an example of intolerance/tribalism which is a close kin to Raila's ambition/hunger for presidency.

That being said, many historians would confirm that Raila with his weaknesses, has done more for Kenya than even Uhuru thus far; though that's obviously bound to change.

All my friends are heathens, take it slow. Wait for them to ask you who you know. Please don't make any sudden moves.

Well said @innairobi, he quite obviously misadvised the powers that be. Even Jendan Fraiser said as much. It would have made any meeting between him and incoming head of state ludicrous.

Truly, choices have consequences. He chose to be blind, went on yapping and see what happens to him now.

True. Obama is not meeting an ICC indictee anytime soon. But there is probably a realization that Carson's comments not only muddied the waters unnecessarily after Obama's initial address but they also pushed many swing voters to the Jubilee column.

Most definitely! And not just when he is back! We need some people put on this 24/7. Who is he meeting? What are they discussing? Which other people are the people he is meeting meeting?

This might seem like paranoia but it's better than ugly suprises. Once a country starts going down the coups way [especially with oil wealth] it's never business as usual after that. We'd rather spend a small fortune to make sure it never happens.

Everyone deserves to have their privacy respected but when you start making certain utterances, you lose that right. Especially given your history [read '82] and the kind of associates you have [read (former???) Mungiki leader Maina Njenga].

You never know people until their tribalist self pops out like an ugly wound! Is this @Maichblack. The road you have taken in the recent past depicts of a totally different person!

My brother @Magigi, this is not tribalism. Just listen to the BBC interview. My discussion was based purely on his comments. Let's not take sides and base our arguments on that. We are all intelligent Kenyans and should be able to base our arguments on facts. If something happens to Kenya, we ALL go down the drain! I don't care who the culprit is! Even if it is my own brother/sister. My [our] country is more important than any of us. I have invested ALL that I have in this country and I have no spare country somewhere.

Please don't let your political affiliation blind you. Don't play the "tribalism" card to try and shut people up! Now where did tribe even come from? Seriously! Given that everyone has a tribe [or combination of tribes] does it now mean we will never comment on anything ANYONE says or does?

You should be dissecting Raila's interview and explaining why you believe my interpretation of the same is wrong and explaining what you believe he meant. Now that would be a Wazua like discussion!

Dear Members,

Our observation is that any focus on electioneering seems to end up in division. Before we can exorcise these leanings, and learn to consciously ignore any triggers from irresponsible politicians, we will never be ready to resume Politics.
