If was in control, I would filter out all fb pages. That is where the hate is most. And that is such an easy task!

Would it be feasible to order that all ballot boxes be re opened and a re count done?

assuming they are all intact, i believe this makes much sense and would provide an appropriate closure, but then again, you will still find some "clerical errors" even after recounting 100 times. by the way, was any ruling made on the rejected votes?

For rejected votes wil be in final judgement,it was combined[am no lawyer, excuse my engrish]

It is no longer about winning or losing. We are now in a frantic search for peace, deep within ourselves.

This is because, the foundations of Government are being shaken. We would like to believe that an independent electoral body can exist, but can it?

Can things ever go right? Is there lust for power?

How then will we live? What will make us embrace, and laugh and play? Right now, our tongues are bitter, and throats perched.

But here, I have some water for you.

The foundations of Government lie deep within ourselves, therefore only knowledge of truth about ourselves can quench our thirst.

The tribe is a powerful and important symbol, but the symbol in itself is Humanity invited to Divinity. Look at how the myths of the tribes agree? Look at the common ancestry of Man.

Is it trivial that the Christ, once trode on this earth, and shed his blood, and died for us all?

Who is a mightier warrior than he who serves the greatest King; The most high God?

Yet the normal warrior will find himself serving mortal man and his interests. And so must such a warrior perish.

There's a reason as to why, it is said that in the days of old, African Kings would embrace and employ the defeated in places of honor.

Politics was the same as Godliness. And peace reigned in the people of the spirit. All these can be ascertained in our books.

Therefore, turning into ourselves involves the spirits of our fore fathers.

Where then will we begin? We must go to the ancient of days, and remember.

Someone once told me that the Afrikana, the people of the spirit, were a nation of dancers, musicians and poets.

And can't we see the remains of this rich culture even now?

Rulership, is Godliness. But now see the Christ, dying and Resurrecting, as we drink his blood and partake of his flesh, and having filled with the Spirit.

And by it, the whole of humanity has been Divinized. And so if we are facing any tyranny and oppression we are each to blame.

My little understanding of law tells me that judges rule on issues brought b4 them. In that i mean CORDS petition was that the IEBC allowed people not registered to vote, the IEBC conspired with TNA so as that TNA wins the election, the IEBC's systems were made to fail etc....given that the burden of prove lies with the petitioner, has the he provided enough prove to show the above happened?

AFRICOGs issue was that the tallying of the election results was wrong and they indicated that some form 34/36 dint match. Well...form the courts record above that has been proven, but does it meet the required threshold to nullify an election...that, the judges will tell us tomorrow.

I honestly think IEBC did their best in these circumstances. The Kenyan administrative and electoral systems would be rated a C at the best.

Expecting IEBC to perform an A in a repeat poll is unrealistic. We saw what happened in Florida in 2000 despite the fact that the US sytem was probably an A.

Elections are not a n exact science and all stakeholders should be prepared to accept some level of deviations so long as they do not lead to fundamental flaws.

Even in day to day life we have to live with these variations. Even a butcher operating exactly calliberated scales will add some grammes of meat to one customer but reduce some grammes from another. In the long run the weights will revert to around the correct amounts.

if we go back to the ballot hassan or the entire commission will resign no way will they conduct another one after the previous one was discredited

will have to choose another another commission and jubilee now controls both senate and the national assembly...........smile

And who guarantees that the new commission will not have clerical errors?

problem is if...
1. System was designed to fail to avoid transparenncy hence taking uss to 5 years ago.. remember Krieglers recommenndations?
2. The tallying was done in a haphazard manner so as to push somebody just above the +1 threshold... hence the insistence by Kethi on that 1k vote reduced and added for some candidates. In this case only 4 constituencies can be used to do that..

Lets not look for 2007 and Nyayo era riggings as threshold for this case

so... a new commission (which can only be formulated through a tribunal - unless they all resign). the commission does not conduct elections but rather the secretariat. the folly of 2007 is that we threw out the baby and the bath water - we fired everyone who had anything to do with elections and replaced them with noobs. remember elections have to be held IN 60 DAYS. when are you formulating this commission? I have heard people throwing around the 'UN'... under which law? who told you the 'UN' will do a better job or is even willing to do this work? p.s. the UN has been working with the IIEC and then IEBC since 2008!

the metric will be - HOW MATERIAL ARE THE MISTAKES.... ARE THEY MATERIAL? lastly the elections act 2010 states that any electoral malpractice will be carried individually since the whole commission cannot be discredited by a couple of polling stations.
