Where's admin by the way - many posts here surely amount to 'anticipating the course of a trial or predicting the outcome'. The insinuation that the respected George Oraro is in this for the money is also in bad taste, no?
How about we just wait for the court's decision? It's only a max of 3 days away anyway. I think so too. This guy is quite respected for the quality of his work. I've worked with him on several occasions and though we do drop quite heavy cheques on his door step, he'll sometimes tell you there is no point of taking legal route on some issues because the case will end up being thrown out and we will just incur unnecessary legal fees.... and that's for a man who is supposedly in this for the money..... George Oraro does not play cards when he practises law. He practises pure and simple law based on the factual circumstances of the case. That is why he has for 10 years in a row being declared as the top litigation lawyer by Chambers and Global. The Petition is by itself self sustaining and provides substantive grounds in paragraphs 4 as read with Regulation 59(1), 79 and 82 of the Elections Regulations 2012. One needs to understand that the interlocutory applications that were disallowed by the SC were merely that interlocutory applications. They are a means to an end and not the end in themselves. The threshold is very low in this case that even with the substance in the petition there is enough evidence to sustain a successful outcome possunt quia posse videntur
