KK saw a volume spike today. A low of 9.80 was hit...

There was a huge order @9.45 which will likely be filled...

Mpesa bank back to 5.80 stage (former resistance now turned support). Consolidation then a move back to the highs since the selling is on light volume. Member continues to see heavy turnover for 2 weeks now with the price still stable exdiv. I expect member to rally more than KCB this year. AK positioning points to a move higher.

As for my trades - CFCI is within striking distance of my target @10.50 while JHL is slowly working towards 250.

Near term risk - locally - election case while globally - Cyprus throwing a nasty spanner into the works.

@Hisah. CFCI appears to have found its resistance at 10.0. A slide down appears to have started

I sold cfci today. It was a good ride from 7.00. Remaining passengers enjoy.

@Aguy. Noted our interests are quite similar from HF, CFCI...
Sold my lot today too after noting a bit of resistance upwards. Keenly looking to offload kenya Re end of week if it touches my target of 17.5.
My biggest worry is panafric where I have 50% of my holdings. So illiquid to sell and has been price has been flat for so long

Today the market was very sluggish. AK is leaders in the number of shares trades i.e. 2M while Mpesa bank had a turnover of 9M. Wait and see mood in play as the election petition places a barrier to the works.

Despite the sluggishness FTSE15 and 25 indices were up 1% plus.

I hope next week @stockmaster will give a review of his strategy. Waiting to compare notes.

3/= from a price of 7/= is 42.85% gross, comm is less than 5% thus net 37% which is not bad

@Mlenyama. 9.9-7=2.9 which is about 40% return even if the shillings in between look few. Or do you mean you would rather buy BAT at 530 and sell at 600 because it will have risen by 70 bob? That is a 15% return smile Shame on you

@mlennyma is confusing CFCI with CFC Bank. Keeping in mind there is also a CIC.

I propose we drop that name and get used to Liberty.

Hisah,
What do you think is the fair price for CFCI?
Is it too late for a damsel to ride on it for the medium term?

@mlennyma. I made net 35%, which was a tidy sum. I focus on percentage gains/losses no matter the amounts i invested, so i can always see the bigger picture.

Careful though. I was here purely for speculation purposes and it rallied even beyond my targets. I didn't sell coz of any other reason. If i trusted management i could have held on for longer.
