Eg; she has just said that the presidential returning officer has custody of the presidential register. There is NO SUCH document!
One register was used for the six elections. May be she did not vote, so she doesn't know how the process went. I disagree she researches thoroughly woe unto you if you meet her in court and you arent thorough atang'ara na wewe mbaya on this one you got it wrong give credit where it is due... From what I have seen today, I don't think she does enough research. Another example: she shot herself in the foot by saying that she was ordered by the high court to make the request about the "marked register" at the supreme court. The the supreme court asked her; have you filed that request with us - do we have it? Of course she hadn't followed the high court advice. I think suits, the practice and other legal dramas zimekuchanganya... possunt quia posse videntur

@maka I respect your viewpoint. @chiraoscuro what is the point of playing a game if you cannot objectively admire when your opponent is competent?
Even if the court ruling may go against her, this lady credibly proved she is not just her father's daughter. She competently handled her 'request to produce' and it has become a dangerous request.
Rightly, the respondents have vigorously objected. She seems to be pursuing a cause against clumsiness not deviousness, and IEBC thus far has been clumsy.

By the way, now that this is a pre-trial hearing, is it possible that the judges could rule in the evening that given the evidence given in court, they dont feel there is enough to sustain the case and thus no need of going to a full trial? Like it happens in ICC?

Bravo! She has definitely opened the proverbial can of worms here...it will be good entertainment to see how this is suppressed. Business opportunities are like buses, there's always another one coming

I don't see the big deal with the lawyers in this case, this seems to be common arguments based on written down rules governing the whole process of the presidential election. Considering what the guys are paid I was expecting a different level of preparedness.
e.g show how sample ballot boxes are sealed using visual aids, show using scientific methods how long it would take to bring ballots from wherever they are to the sc ...
this is one of the biggest case in the country and lawyers can't even get the timing right, very amateurish.

To me the biggest joke so far was the request by one petitioner that EVID equipment computers etc be provided to all parties in court! Now how do provide one piece of equipment to several people? It can only go to one person...at a time....and time they don't have!

You see why I love it when Wazuans discuss? It opens up different thought points...Thus leading to someone appreciating diversity of thought.

She is simply diverting attention! In fact @chiaroscuro, you've hit the nail on the head. Since the point she's advancing is the principal voters register was vitiated, Supreme Court could request for a sample from those she mentioned; or perhaps examination of the same register for the 22 polling stations.
