Dear Members,

Thank you for the contributions yesterday. We were proud to be a part of our community.

2. All members will be allowed to only post links to reputable news sources with an explaining line or caption
3. Text of article should not be copied in full to the thread
4. No member may post the same link more than once
5. Post should not state personal opinions, whether positive or negative, towards a political party, presidential candidate, or their supporters.

Should more than five members willingly violate the rules, they will have succeeded in freezing political discussions for that day.

Are we desperately tribal?
Look at the natural pairing in the petition at SC.

Uhuru/ Ngatia
Odinga/ Oraro
Ruto / Kigen
Isaack / Ahmednasir

I would not exactly use the words desperately tribal but that is who we are and I don't think it is anything we should be ashamed of.

Would you say we are desperately tribal because of the spouses that we choose? A majority of people choose to marry people of the same tribe.

I think it is Nelson Mandela who said that if you speak to a man in a language that he understands you speak to his mind but if you speak to him in his own language you speak to his heart. A client lawyer relationship is a close relationship and you want to be sure your lawyer really understands you and your position... he is your representative in court....... if issues of law were not so complicated, the ideal case would be you arguing your own case in court.... so you want as close a relationship as you can get with him and admittedly tribal ties are ties that bind strongly ....... nothing wrong with that.

To hire a lawyer to represent you is a private affair and there is no obligation to "have a face of Kenya" on your personal representative.

http://www.capitalfm.co....-of-cord-rigging-claim/

The Director of Public Prosecutions has directed the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to end a probe into claims by the Coalition for Reform and Democracy (CORD) that government officials led by Civil Service boss Francis Kimemia were involved in a plot to rig the March 4 General Election.
DPP Keriako Tobiko says that after reviewing a file sent to him by CID Ndegwa Muhoro, he concurs that there is no evidence to show that Kimemia or any other government official were in any way involved in an attempt to rig the elections.

Dear @harrydre @masukuma,

You are consistently unreliable in adherence to the rules and policies.
Take caution, you're almost at the end of the line.
