Dear Members,

As you've all had a chance to state your dissatisfaction, kindly let the thread be used by only those who want to make updates going forwards.

Rules and policies:
1. Every day, one thread only Politics update for [date] will be created
2. All members will be allowed to only post links to reputable news sources with an explaining line or caption
3. Text of article should not be copied in full to the thread
4. No member may post the same link more than once
5. Post should not state personal opinions, whether positive or negative, towards a political party, presidential candidate, or their supporters.

Should more than five members willingly violate the rules, they will have succeeded in freezing political discussions for that day.

Example:

Saturday 30-Mar is the last day for the Supreme Court to deliver its decision, the Easter holiday notwithstanding.

I also found it quite strange...IEBC then is completely not aware of what has been said about them if they can a hire a severe critic as their defender...Can be sure this will be a focus in the course of this weak.

Looks like IEBC was having trouble finding a lawyer to defend them? This guy signed up at the very last minute and even their response was last minute.

here we go, he seems to have changed his mind in 2 months. The article was written in Feb 2013, and now suddenly he is defending them:

Susbsequent to his IEBC piece, he correctly read winner of majority vote on 23-Feb
Opinion polls are a hoax; don’t believe them

He got a job and changed tune, noting any senior lawyer worth their mettle wants to be in one of Kenya's most important cases

Did any Wazuans change tune also?

.

The criticism is centred on money matters and the conduct of some commissioners. That said it has nothing to do with the allegations of electoral malpractices as alleged elsewhere. (Will not comment further the matter is "seized").
