Its a strategic asset.Privatization might also bring corruption scandals and issues of wealth being shifted to certain tribal groups even if thats not the case.But let's be honest the inefficiency and corruption at the ports has made some individuals very rich and powerful and no matter what happens they will still attempt to maintain that position!
