Can anyone confirm or debunk this statement? Seems mainstream media isn't covering it.

Cord holds a strategy meeting

Quote:
As the supreme court kicked off the historic election petition challenging the march 4 presidential poll, Prime Minister Raila Odinga this morning convened a strategic meeting with all the cord senators elect at a Nairobi hotel. The closed door meeting chaired by the pm and the vice president Kalonzo Musyoka was reported to have discussed among other issues, the court case where coalition for reforms and democracy – cord, is challenging IEBC’s declaration of Uhuru Kenyatta as the president elect. ODM national elections board chairman Franklin Bett addressed the press after the meeting with Raila and Kalonzo tactfully shunning the press briefing.

Can one be in Opposition and Government at the same time?

Oh I forgot, even UK was there in 2007.

Online and arm chair critics take note:
Thus spake the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court:

“The petitioners and respondents, their agents, supporters and advisors are directed to desist from prosecuting the merits of their cases in any forum other than this court"

“Media houses, individual journalists and commentators are to perform their functions in a fair impartial and responsible manner. The media is required to strictly adhere to the code of conduct of practice of journalism in Kenya at all times"

On this point I fully agree with Tinga, in other words if all the ministers were to resign today who will run the government? Mind you the petition and another election may drag on till end of June.
