I suggest that we should have an upper age limit for our mpigs in the new consitution. ....say not more than 60years at the end of parliamentary term ...this will ensure that our law making process is not for old people .....who will die soon after being defeated in election..... so that an Mpig willl live to see the damage he cause to our beloved- envied by all motherland

Rules of the game here: Before you post anything think.give facts only..It's a serious blog for serious people....Do not insult your brother....respect one another...Just be good.... But who will bell the cat? Isn't it the same Mpigs to pass the same Constitution?

methinks best thing would be to have a max 2-term limit for MPigs (and AG as well) with constituents able to invoke a recall clause, springing from the logic is that if you as an MPig cannot make a difference in the lives of your constituents within these 10 years (if you are not recalled that is) THEN YOU NEVER WIILL and should immediately pave way for others to do so. I mean we are tired of MPigs who have represented their constituencies for over 40 years, and these have not achieved much. Allowing the VIPs (very important pigs) to stay long enables them to entrench themselves with the local businessmen, provincial admin, elders, etc making their future removal in an election an odious task. Ever since independence the progress of this country has been held hostage tot he whims of a few individuals at any one time, hopefully this can engender much-needed change.

But your guess is as good as mine if Mpigs can pass a constitution with such provisions.

While we are at it,lets ask all councillors to line up and let's kick them out of our lives, what is their JD anyway? Why do some districts require both a county and municipal council each with its own expensive bureaucracy - can't we harmonize the 2 so that only one council assumes charge? I mean the country/rural part can be a department within the municipal council.

..there's nothing,absolutely nothing really,that I can't do if I put my mind to it.
