Culture defines how we view and interact with ourselves, others and our environments. So culture dictates all the rest.

Ok. kwa hivyo ni culture gani itakayo suluhisha jambo hili?

Now thats impossible because no matter what culture exists, people will still make their own decisions. But a good place to start would be to stop glorifying sex.

but if we have identified the problem surely we can find a solution to that problem. alphdoti anatuonyesha culture moja inayoonekana kufaulu kusuluhisha hili jambo. is culture related to religion?

Religion is a part of culture.Out of respect I don't want to engage on my thoughts on religion.Me and you may see the problem but a majority don't consider it a problem.Let's start with media, nothing sells like sex scandals.Let's get to men, sexual prowess especially in public is much important than sex.Boys in our generation want to grow up to be 'playas'.Our young girls,in the name of being 'sexually liberated' and independent, being loose is great. Now that is where the problem is,sex has become fashion and we've all seen, fashion doesn't have to make sense.

thats sad. i wanted to pick your thoughts on religion starting with the one you profess and show you how it has contributed to the status quo. but with media, in our case, nothing sells like politics not sex.

What would people be more interested in,if a female politician x was busted having a quickie with evidence or if male politican y was implicated in a corruption scandal?

My religion is love and truth.Any religion that professes such has my ear.But in the spirit of being clear,I'm a Christian and I am well aware of the injustices done under its name by people. The question is,can they be called Christians if they don't follow the doctrines they were supposed to embrace?

Culture is identity expressing itself.

About sex, I doubt whether it is glorified. Instead it is trivialized.

So sad..... I think the damage is already done and its time for action. If Uganda was able to reverse the epidemic, S.A. with all its resources should do something.
If a free society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich.

Well, rape could be a factor in South Africa.

Some statistics claim 1 in every 4 young men has been involved in rape/attempted rape.

You see my brother @ChessMaster, Bible does not have a solution for these problems.
But the only book on earth that gives you a solution is the Quran.
It gives you the solution to this problem of humanity - excess women.

Let me remind you something
Remember the American statistic tells us that there are 7.8million more women than men in America, who can't get husbands.
If every man in America got married, there is still about 8 million women who can't get husbands.

Big Question:
I'm asking in this book of God that the Christians are boasting about, what is the solution to this problem?

Evangelists and the Western thinking
Let me give you some little background about these evangelists and the Western thinking.
- Jimmy Sweggat, a reknown Christian evangelist, had a laugh another time on TV at the expense of the Muslims.
- He said "Islam allows 4 wives, upto 4. Christianity only allows one, so I had to get the best on the first short".
- So you see he says Christianity allows only one and he had to choose the best.
- And you know what my friend, the best was not good enough!

Look all these televengalist
All one by one they are all falling.
- Reverend Marvin Gorman, he appears on television, televengalising millions, he was caught with a prostitute.
- Reverend Jim Bakker, he was caught with Jessica Hahn, another prostitute.
- Jimmy Swaggart, he goes to a prostitute average of twice a month, for his satisfaction.

Did you read the news sometimes last year?
Did you see the way Catholic Church was on the limelight for all kinds of sexual scandals!
There are rumours that the previous Pope had to resign because sexual offends in the Church!

I say you laugh at the Muslims, it is foolish, the laugh is on you.

These Westerners
You see the Westerners who are bringing you all these nonesense have a problem, Americans, the British, the French, the Germans ... all of them.
To this day, there is no solution in their book! No solution! Islam gives you an answer to this problem.

You said you want truth
So my friend, see what the Quran says, please brother
Then point a finger at the Quran and say look this Quranic teaching is not right, not reasonable.
Talk about the Quran, don't talk about the Muslims because as much as we have bad Muslims, the Christians have bad Christians.

It has to be culture.I find it to be the most important element of any society. It will dictate parenting, education and morals and thats what the children will use to make decisions.

Why is it not a combination of all those? why just culture?

@all sorry, but the current Western culture cannot solve this problem. This problem will spread further, even upto our dor steps Sad Pray

You see, the number one contributor is money. Greed for money (young girls wanting to have fun). But greed alone is not the cause. It is the lack of discipline.

This talks to cuclture. The kind of culture we have nowadays in this societies are Westernized.
It is does no longer emphasize on moral values such as respect.

So as long as people follow Western cultue, there is no solution. Sorry.

NOTE: Didn't we see a new advert promoting mpango wa kando, as long as you use "C" word?

Are you putting blame on the girl? this is absurd, the girls are just victims of a rotten culture, these are kids, no adult should sleep with a kid whether the kid initiate it or not, period!

This is not western culture as you put it, in westen countries only sick people sleep with underage( anyone under 18yrs.), sex with underage is forbidden in western countries if you don't know.

@Rollout I'm putting the blame on the parents, on the culture, on the way of life, on the society...

Jesus said: "By their fruit you will know them." Mathew 7:20

The love
Look at the Muslims. Every good tree, will bear good fruit. And every evil tree will bear evil fruit.
That is the test Jesus is talking about.

The fruits
Islam has created the biggest society of teetollers in the world.
There over 1billion Muslims in the world, and all are teetollers.
They don't indulge in alcohol.
These are the fruits.

Look at India
The most racist people on Earth, the Hindus of India.
Where they have the cast Hindus.
And you see this same nation, has become one that accept the rich and white, the rich and the poor in its brotherhood.
It changed, because of Islam.

Now with all this claims
That have been made against Christianity, transforming people's lives.
They say the old you goes out of you and the new you comes into you!
I say, my dear brothers and sisters, in this nation of Kenya, that nation of South Africa and even those who claim to be in "Majuu",
according to brother Jimmy Swaggart, there are 11 milion drunkards. That's what he said in his book.

11 million drunkards and 44 million heavy drinkers.

Yes, this nation of "Majuu".

And brother Jimmy Swaggart says he sees no difference between them. That means 55 million, he sees all of them to be drunkards.
The only difference is, there are far enough.

In Islam, we say even a social drinker, is not allowed.
The prophet said:
"Whatever intoxicates in a greater quantity is also unlawful in a small quantity."
No excuse for a tot!! Out!!

The Quran 5:90-91 says:
"You who believe! Intoxicants and Gambling, all are an abomination of Satan's handiwork.
Eschew such abomination, that you may prosper.
Satan's plan is (but) to excite enmity and hatred between you, with intoxicants and gambling,
and hinder you from the remembrance of God, and from prayer; will you not then abstain?"

NOTE: According to brother Jimmy Swaggart, 54 billion dollars per year, is lost in gambling!

These are the fruits. The fruits of the teaching of Islam.

But 2000 years of preaching
of the teachings of the Bible, look at it!
You have these powers of miracle working, they say Christ give life, he healed the sick, Muhammad (peace be upon him) could not do it.

I say my brothers and sisters you do not read the scriptures, Jesus is saying:
"For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect."

So, if false prophets can do that, if false Christs can do miracles, then I say is this a test of your faith?
The answer is no!!

When Jesus Christ tells those who are doing these miracles:
Matt 7:22-23 "Many will say to me in that day (of Judgement), Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?
and in thy name have cast out devils?
and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

He is telling you this!!
"In thy name!". In the name of Jesus, didn't we do all these things, didn't we do all that?
Jesus will say, yes. He will to them, I never knew you, depart from me, you whose work was not adequate!!

So I say explain
He won't tell the Jews, He won't tell the Hindus get away from me, or the Atheist get away from me.
He will tell you the Christians. I want to know why? Why would he tell you "I don't even know you, get out"?

I say look at another test
John the baptist according to Jesus, was one of the mightiest messengers of God.
Jesus says says among those born of women, there has not risen any greater than John the baptist.
Yet John performed no miracles! Did he? Sho me, what did he do? What miracles? No.

So miracle is not a test.
But th greater miracle is: without miracles, you transform nations. Over 1000 milion people, they don't indulge in alcohol because of teachings of Muhammad (peace be upon him).

@AlphDoti

Where this is going is islam/christianity superior?

Now let me share my thoughts on religion. We can quote scripture all day long but no one can stand up and prove it beyond faith.I can dissect Islam,Christianity,Buddhism,Taoism...name it.What will it prove but just attacking other peoples faith?

Even that faith, its based on perception.Perception is under the influence of culture.Would you have been a muslim if you were born in US/UK/India/Japan/South Africa? How do you know you meet the standards of Muslims 50 years ago,100...Would you be you and still make the same decisions that you make today?

God is Love.If any religion professes and accepts that it is obvious the fruits will be love. That means true followers of those religions will be fruits of God,Love. Now we can name it whatever way we want it and I will get bashed for saying that but I don't really care.Love is very clear and dominant in religions. That's the truth. What else do I have to worry about if not love.
