Many times I think I have seen the best there is and I think it can't get better only for something else to come along and be better. I however am beginning to think Lionel Messi is the best there will ever be. I can't possibly imagine how a better footballer would be. He is IT!!! Unbelievably, gloriously, tantalizingly, superbly perfect!!!!!!

the guy is from a different planet, very good I must agree.
if he can crown it with at least a world cup to his name then it will be sealed - bila wc he will drop in the same league as Eusébio

I am talking technical skill, titles aside. His awareness of where the ball is, where the goal is, where his teammates are, where his opponents are, at the most critical of moments is astounding. I think it is a kind of exceptional intelligence to be that aware and then couple that with a unique talent that enables him to execute on it moment after moment in one game and then game after game!!! This guy is special in a very special way.

I have always told guys, they should be grateful to be alive at this time.

The only thing to seal it for the doubting Thomases is for him to win the World Cup...wait..Yes, Maradona won the World Cup, however how many League Titles or Champions League level tournaments did he guide his teams to?...as for Pele he should swallow his pride and stop trying to belittle Messi in order for him to "remain" in the top 2..

You are watching the Worlds Best Player of All Time. History when finally written will confirm this.

Magician this lil' guy.

From the days when Gaucho was the star man at Camp Nou.

He got arms for feet.

The WC is not what it used to be.

For me, he needs no WC to prove anything.

He is THE GUY.

The only branded jersey i've ever bought was his no. 19 seven years ago.

The only team i'm fearing in CL is Real,they seem to have learnt our game despite of recent dip in form and commitment.

But i guess the storm is waning.
