@Saitoti

No knowledgeable investor will buy the 200% return pitch people who have such kind of money do have some very good research and market knowledge and they expect you have done your homework well, so if you really have a good business idea, there are a few things you need to do
1) Invest on a website
2) 200% return is line rather stupid
3) Have an offical email
4) Understand that no one is going to just hand you any money just by dropping some numbers.

once you have those thing come here and refer all of us to some website with a link to youtube with you in a nice suit explaining why someone should put $2M in your business. Everything else is bullshit

Please drop that nickname "Saitoti" anyone who know Saitoti can easly connect you with the long Nigerian email starting with

My name is ... Saitioti, the son of former Kenyan Minister, I have $50 Million, I want you to help me tranfer to your account from a US bank, in return you will get $5 Million............

@Rollout,
I've had a website since the business started off two years ago, 200% is an understatement, I also have an official email address from the website and my real name is Saitoti, I've been in Wazua since the days of SK.

The organization currently has 7 employees and we've been recording double digit growth yearly.

Thing is, I'm willing to share the business details with only serious investors and that's why I've left my email address so as to share the detailed information.

I've done my homework very very well, trust me.

@ Saitoti:

Just some suggestions to help you in your search:

1. Develop a business plan in support of your search for capital. It is not clear from your posts whether you have developed a business plan or not.

2. Address the issue of your company's creditworthiness by evaluating and describing its 5 Cs of Credit:
http://www.investopedia....rms/f/five-c-credit.asp

3. No one will lend you USD $ while you are in Kenya unless your sales are also in dollars. So you may want to re-evaluate the currency used in your borrowings.

4. For expansion outside Kenya, a financial institution will want to see that the company has used its own internal resources to establish a presence outside the country. Further they'll want to see how the foreign operations are performing separate from the local operations.

5. Have you approached your existing bank for an overdraft or a loan? If they have given you the funds, then use those funds first, repay them and ask for an extension in the limit given. If your bank has refused to extend to your company credit (loan or overdraft), then no other local bank will do as their lending criteria are similar. You'll also need to establish why your company has been refused credit. Investors may use similar criteria as used by the banks in evaluating whether to invest in your company.

Hi Bro,

Double digit growth yearly is anything from 10 to 99 %.

So where has the 200 % come from.

Fair_Car_Dealer,
Thank you for your contribution.
I've the detailed business plan ready, in both $ and Kshs. Thanks for the 5C's model, It has assisted the company know it credit position.

For expansion outside Kenya we have used our own internal resources to establish a presence outside the country in Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan and Burundi. Their performance has been commendable.
The banks think i'm just borrowing too much, they want us to first start with a small loan then borrow more after around 6 months.
Unfortunately, time is not on our side.

See what's in it for you, you don't necessarily need to raise the whole amount alone, the model is open to allow different kinds of investors in.

But a lot of businesses out there don’t see the return on investment, they look at it as a liability, and until they can understand that proactive security actually returns, gives them a return on investment, it’s still a hard sell for people.

Think Different.

I'm sorry.. But I find it very hard to believe that a credible company in need of $2million does not know its credit position and needs investopedia & the same wazuans from whom it is requesting the cash to show it the way!
