I don't think Raila Odinga will proceed with the case to challenge the election of Uhuru Kenyatta.

Here are my reasons for thinking this:

With the margin of victory Uhuru had he knows he cannot win even if the court ordered a runoff.

All his lieutenants Kalonzo, Wetangula, Nyongo, Orengo already have secured their seats. It is not in their interests to stand by Raila now. Raila has no value to them now. If anything there is a vacancy to build their own political bases outside Raila's influence. So if Raila opts to go to court, he will find himself alone there. Raila is a politician and nothing would scare him more than to go to court and have no public support.

Kenyans are tired of this election process. People have accepted defeat. If they did an opinion poll even in the city of Kisumu I don't think a majority will want to go through another election in a month's time.

His greed for bread and carpets cannot allow him to imagine being home with his grandchildren from divorcees and drunkard children.

Whaa! Let him not repeat Kimunya mistake 'I rarher die', kazi ni watu. He can be posted to AU deputy president if he wants to avoid that mess at home.

He is past his productive years and remember him being scorned by the AU for the mess in a certain country on the Gbagbo issue?

Raila is not going for a recount as an option. His complaint starts with faulty register, increasing number of registered voters in his rival's strongholds and reduction in his strongholds. In fact he claims IEBC is not credible. He wants fresh elections under a new R-IEBC (Raila Independent Electrol and Boundaries Commission).
We make or break our own tomorrows today!
