One can also have the counter argument that he is the one person who is aspiring for the highest office in the land not for personal financial gain, but for achieving level 5 of maslow's hierarchy of needs...self actualization.
It is a curious fact that of all the illusions that beset mankind, none is quite as curious as that tendency to suppose that we are mentally and morally superior to those who differ from us in opinion.
