Mutahi Ngunyi is the KING. Brilliant political mind!!!

If I was a politician, he would definitely be on my payroll. The best political advisor one can get!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

why are we comparing Makau with Ngunyi? Ngunyi wasn't even writing in any newspaper yet when he came up with Tyranny of Numbers, Kenya took time to analyse his analysis.

Makau is just a very opinionated felllow.

Was wondering the same. These two men are in very different leagues they are actually not in the same sport! Habari ndiyo hiyo! Even before we go to their mannerism and approach, Mutahi Ngunyi is eons ahead intellectually!

I respect Mutahi

But the tyranny wasn't anything new

Jubilee had tabulated their numbers. They showed a Jubilee 1st round win.

@a4architect also did his tabulation and gave us the link showing a win by Jubilee 1st round.

Mutahi didn't declare a round 1 win
Laughing out loudly smile Applause d'oh! Sad Drool Liar Shame on you Pray

Mutahi predicted the 2007/2008 post election violence four years before it happened!!! Nobody could even imagine PEV at that time but he wrote a full article on how it was likely to go down in detail and with no fear or favour! You can Google the article - along with his many other articles that stood the test of time.

He is just realistic and lucky. He makes obvious mistakes sometimes, do not overrate him just coz of these election results. Uhuruto went ahead without Kalonzo because they already knew the tyranny of numbers was on their favor.

Because the fellow is brutally honest. For example in the case of the Raila/Kibaki MOU - whichever version you believe - Mutahi Ngunyi will tell you as it is. He will tell you exactly what will happen if you go back on the agreement.

Kibaki - he of the "bure kabisa"; "mavi ya kuku" fame might not take such brutal honesty kindly. He is used to dealing with politicians - who massage you ego and beat around the bush instead of telling you "Here you are wrong sir. You are totally messing up and I suggest you change course!".

And the people around Kibaki would not want such a straight talking intellectual individual near the president because it automatically curtails their kitchen cabinet shenanigans!!!

He also told us that MAdvd would be made Kenyan fourth president.
