IEBC has really tried. Like I said before, I think the commission was determined to deliver as CLEAN RESULTS as possible. Congratulations!

I give IEBC 4/10 for its work. There's so much to be done to ensure Kenyans retain their confidence in voting and in this institution.

congrats to iebc for a job well done, there are lots of things they would have done better - but at least they have completed the job.

I still think the late kivuitu and his team also did a splendid job pre ICC

NO! THEY DID NOT!

49% score for Isaak Hassan and IEBC. Big room for improvement! Especially in Voter Education and ICT systems.

Kenyan people are the real winners. They preached peace acceptance and refused to be incited.

We blamed Kivuitu for systematic failure of institutions but i assure you, if these results (Jubilee win by 4k votes ) was announced by Kivuitu's team, there would be blood on the streets.

If partisanism by Head of Public Service, Military, intelligence and threats on CJ had gained traction, things would have been different.

@sparkly, word. All Kenyans should feel victorious if after a rigorous campaign and elections period, peace is maintained. That's a sign of a maturing electorate.

I think this time round all institutions have done their part, especially the media and the threat of icc.
plus the iebc learnt a lot from some of the eck failures - especially not allowing politicians to control proceedings at the tallying center.

That kits tendering ...hapo I am sure there were very dark forces circling that money. IEBC needs to be handed untouchable independence, like the current judiciary. Even Treasury was playing games with it, there was a lot of pressure on Hassan. Remember the mic incident when some careless comments were recorded? IEBC has performed well under these circumstances. Now, IEBC needs to audit itself and give us a comprehensive explanation on what happened to our 8billion shillings. All underhand dealings, mistakes of omission and commission should be let out into the open, and due process to follow. If they dont do this its within our rights to judge them harshly and request their removal.

Very few seem to realise that. From an economic point of view, ECK did way better. We were conned. Worse still, the gadgets will not be factors of production unless by elections. Guess they might form part of Jubilees policy of a laptop per child.

It's never about perfection, even though that's the end game. It's about progress. Yes, some things weren't efficient, but we can't say there wasn't progress. The mistakes learnt this time will help in the future elections, starting with 2017. It can only get better, same case with how the economy rebounded from the pre-Kibaki era. Progress.

What is fair is to give each man his due; give benefit of doubt, acclaiming what was done right while critiquing what needs to be done better.
IEBC too used to making us wait:
