I give IEBC 4/10 for its work. There's so much to be done to ensure Kenyans retain their confidence in voting and in this institution.

@sparkly, word. All Kenyans should feel victorious if after a rigorous campaign and elections period, peace is maintained. That's a sign of a maturing electorate.

That kits tendering ...hapo I am sure there were very dark forces circling that money. IEBC needs to be handed untouchable independence, like the current judiciary. Even Treasury was playing games with it, there was a lot of pressure on Hassan. Remember the mic incident when some careless comments were recorded? IEBC has performed well under these circumstances. Now, IEBC needs to audit itself and give us a comprehensive explanation on what happened to our 8billion shillings. All underhand dealings, mistakes of omission and commission should be let out into the open, and due process to follow. If they dont do this its within our rights to judge them harshly and request their removal.

It's never about perfection, even though that's the end game. It's about progress. Yes, some things weren't efficient, but we can't say there wasn't progress. The mistakes learnt this time will help in the future elections, starting with 2017. It can only get better, same case with how the economy rebounded from the pre-Kibaki era. Progress.
