Whoever came up with the 50%+1 rule must have watched alot of West Wing.

This rule will be hard to beat only Kibaki in 2002 could have managed . I dont see how it adds value imagine spending another 6B and be declared winner by simple majorityd'oh!

If this rule wasnt there no politician would see the need to build serious and tangible coalitions. They would just fall back on the raw numbers of tribal voting blocks, probably tack on some other lightweight cooperators to buy a slight edge. This is a good rule despite its appearance of 'wastefulness', especially longterm.

Narok east&north approx 45 k each registered voters.

Laisamis approx 28k registered voters.

Two other constituencies with approx 20k registered voters each.

As of now, uk has 6,030,334.
Total cast: 11969903.

Uk hanging by 45383 votes to cutoff.

molo has not been read ..........

If you are correct, then molo takes over from nithi pap. or could it have been divided and now smaller??

If I recall Molo was split with Njoro constituency being created.
285/291
6 Constituencies remaining. AS Alma had mentioned, if the media was keeping tabs on the IEBC announcements, they would be telling us the remaining counties. Poor showing from them?

This is what they are saying

And he ( Kamwana ) will take molo konoin, half of the two naroks while cord takes the mwingi west and mbita. This 0.5% buffer he has over the passmark is4 is great Godsend. Either way he finishes above 50 %

IEBC and its commissioners is just a big joke. These characters especially this somali guy called Hassan Isaack can't keep his word!

He promised within 48hrs,then friday morning then saturday ...He can't even feel shame for this!!
I now believe the allegations made about him during the IIEC were so true.

He doesn't have the interests of Kenya at heart,He doesn't care about peace, incompetent and ought to be suspended.

Unfortunately many Kenyans, unlike jews and other developed nations, don't know who their enemies are.

Garbage!

Geeke @ faa , what is it?
Hassan went through a rigorous interview and vetting process, he was the best out there.
Honestly, i prefer the delay than people to have flimsy grounds for ....you know what.
