Building roads is no big deal.Give my grandmother money and you can have a highway anytime......There are some many other issues which Baks has neglected or is purely unable to handle including the small issue of a second wife..........He is simply too indicisive to be liked and as has been said,if he does not behave,his send off will be worse than that of Mo1......

Abetting corruption and impunity is all my mind is screaming right now. He can't hide behind 'growth of the economy' while billions are being corruptly stolen. What's the point of having a successful business then having your employees steal money from it all the time??!! You ultimately make a loss! I will remember him for being the most indicisive leader ever!

Hands-free style of management...its like planting a seedling and hoping for the best,then claim responsibility for its growth....

Wouldn't he rather be summoned by Kofi Anan to discuss the state of the coalition,than be summoned by Lucy to publicly declare his 'love' for her!

He was even forced to use 'my DEAR wife Luc***' a word he has not mentioned in the last 40 years.

and by the way did you watch Wambui tell the crowd 'my husband is leaving the seat.......' so who are they trying to fool?

@Vickey Tah

Good one,your analogy has cracked me up to no end.

I guess if you can't win with facts,you can always pen bile-laced,xenophobic rants to distract everyone.

Kibaki is annoyingly slow in showing leadership.

A leader,among other things mantains a touch and warm connection with his people - briefing the people of what he is doing to address their issues as we progress and give them comfort that,yeah something is being done,an able man is in control.
In our case we are seemingly on our own,otherwise the man is not too inspiring.

With that out the way,we may also want to credit him with fixing the economy from the doldrums he found it in.
Pity is,his guard wasnt watchful enough not to let fellows steal the wealth he had created. Defeating!!!
It can hence be concluded trhat Kibaki is probably an economic technocrat,but not a leader.
Not for Kenya,in the kind of straits we find ourselves in.
We need someone to inspire us that our issues are being dealt with and let us see it happening.
One way of doing this isnt calling a press conference to tell the world of his fidelity,to his only wife Lucy.
