What will PK do now? Back to selling insurance? So sad Kenyans are not ready for real change.

Still coming round to the idea that Gatanga folks rejected him resoundingly with a paltry 900+ votes, RAO even had a bigger slice with 5,000+ votes! Yet his main strength was his 'development record' there.

@Thimioni ebu explain what cut - he was my favorite until the eleventh hr...spoke to some Gatanga folks and they didnt have much to say about him.

Those are haters, or UK fanatics to be precise.

1. Today morning, Mutegi Njau of Cord TV said it like it is, Gatanga people never gave PK the mandate to run for president, same for Martha n Kiyiapi. They Wanted the guy to run for governer of Muranga county and to support UK. When he refused, he angered them. They told him he had jumped the gun.

2. Rumours started flying that PK is RAO's stooge in central. His image was completely soiled, as the lad is totally innocent. Infact, he is more closer to UK. Other rumours said he was a stooge of the west.

3. Railaphobia was too powerful a factor, many gatangans swore not to WASTE THEIR VOTE while a RAO presidency was too imminent. That is how the TNA wave swept the people of Gatanga........to the dustbin!

Very correct @Thimioni
Am sure had he run for Governor he would have won it on a landslide, it was his to take. Do you think this has ruined his chances for a stab at the presidency later on?

Imgine if PK had run for Governor of Nairobi?

It's now clear that whoever pays the piper calls the tune as far as opinion polling is concerned. I think they should be banned for elections because they are obviously not scientific nor relevant.
I wonder how many industries and companies go the wrong direction by using data collected by these research firms. They must have disappointed many.
Maybe we Kenyans are unique and peculiar and need a different 'science' from the 'one shoe fits all'?

BBI will solve it

Would he have made it on a KNC ticket?? I doubt. On a TNA ticket, T2 would have pulled the same games he did on ribz and ruined his chances. BTW, Ribz also had a high chance of clinching the Muranga gubbernatorial seat.

PK n RIBz left the playing field empty and Mwangi wa Iria had a field day. We are lucky the boy is also a performer, otherwise muranga was staring into the dustbin..

I'm not very sure about that. Let us wait and see.

"On Tuesday while tabling a report in Parliament, Co-operative minister Joseph Nyagah, accused Mr Mwangi of abuse of office.

Among other things, the minister alleged that Mr Mwangi was culpable of irregularly awarding tenders and claiming fraudulent mileage." - DN, 10-Dec-2009

The Board and the Minister for Co-operatives terminated his contract at KCC after only 3 years.
Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.

Its Mwangi who turned around KCC......or lets say, he was there during that turnaround period lol!! Nyaga those days was dancing to the ODM crappy tunes, the same tunes that saw John Gakuo shepharded out of town for overperforming. He appointed that octogerian Matu Wamae, his buddy, who found the New KCC already profitable and performing well. Nyaga should be in Jail for abuse of office.
