Depends. If you look at the campaigns, the big spenders will spend the first couple of years recovering their costs. Then, perhaps work will start.
Business opportunities are like buses,there's always another one coming

Politics is just things to keep the people divided and foolish and put your trust in men and none of them can do nothing for you...

Reality will hit when we discover the President isn't all that important anymore and you elected a con as your ward rep because you had to pick 6 piece.

Next I know we will:
1) Have homecoming parties,
2) next round of campaigning for 2017 begins immediately the other
guy loses

Not quite; they didn't spend their own cash. It was donations from "well-wishers". So they'll spend the FULL term repaying favours to these well-wishers!
