We have not receive water for a week now... Surely what does the nairobi water co expect us to survive on?... If there is rationing why do it so discreetly?

Rules of the game here:

Before you post anything think.give facts only..It's a serious blog for serious people....Do not insult your brother....respect one another...Just be good....
It's good to live a honest life....life without guilt....

You've only gone for a week without water and you're already complaining? Rationing has never been fair in this city my friend.. Some of us get water twice or thrice a month! Tulicomplain until tukachoka and have since improvised survival tactics. Count your blessings if unapata maji...

Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer but wish we didn't..

I've been seeing water drilling equipments at roundabouts and major highways. Not so sure but guess they drilling boreholes. A little more patience bro.

@ mpenzi,

since you asked for the survival tactics while the water continues to be scare,I will give you mine. I always call my sweetheart in the bathroom so that we can shower together, this is the best way of conserving water.

Shhhh,don't tell everyone!

I'm not married but I hope to be blessed later on with a wife. I don't see anything wrong with showering together, swimming together or sleeping together with someone you love as long as you don't cross the line, knowhatimean? I thank the most high since my self control is quite strong. If I'm sinning, quote the bible for me pliz. thanx

Kamaa,

It doesn't matter,it will still work. the point is conserving water. showering two of you for price of one! The proof will be in your next water bill.

Ooh,really???? Weeeeee jaribu, wacha kutujaribu.... we may not know the bible inside out but you really want to say that is practical? you shower together, swim together, sleep together WITH SOMEONE YOU LOVE and still manage to 'self control'??? Are both of you normal beings with similar feelings as we(others) have???? And what are the boundaries then? I thought our good Holy Bible talks about temptation and that if you lust for someone its as good as you have done it (or is that a church doctrine?)?? Am not judging you,but i am just trying to understand your situation because I know i wouldnt manage that unless some miracle happens. If you really want to know if it is ok,ask yourself,if Jesus was your guest this evening, would you still do the same in his presence? Am not even sure your pastor would even get to know that leave alone Jesus. if not, then its not in order- and am not a preacher so dont ask me to quote the bible. Am using my Sunday school reasoning.

Yaaani wakristo siku hizi, ama the old time religion werent able to interpret the bible we do these days?????

It's all in self believe, determination and dedication. With prayers and faith, you can even move a mountain, says the good book. We are humans not animals so self control in any aspect is possible. Let's conserve water, shower together with her....or him and bikini is advised for those unmarrried types without shock absorber controls. good luck..you will need it!

@ jaribu,

some saying which goes something like 'there is no good bird in a millet field' ....so better stop lying and accept the fact that you are a human being with feelings, just like the others....what you are describing yourself to be adds up to an anormally or a retardation....just a thought
