Makarege too quick to make judgment. Have you called iebc to enquire/alert them? Who has guaranteed/certified that your figure of 18dec is correct?

What's the figure for rejected??? The didn't give the figure for rejected, official figure for registered as at 18th Dec, 2012 is 41040, declared votes are more than this!!!!! Rejected "ballots" are not votes cast. It is as simple as that. See Article 138 of the Constitution read together with regulations 77 and 78 of the Elections (General) Regulations, 2012 made under the Elections Act 2011.

Makarege too quick to make judgment. Have you called iebc to enquire/alert them? Who has guaranteed/certified that your figure of 18dec is correct? The only logical explanation would be that as per 18th Dec in the morning that was the count. During the day more were registered before the end of the deadline in the afternoon. I dont see how a whole IEBC did not do the tally and notice this before posting for all to see. My Two cents. “People will believe a big lie sooner than a little one, and if you repeat it frequently enough, people will sooner or later believe it.” ― Walter C. Langer

Am reliably told that a PO in Cherangany has disappeared due Ghost voters being found to have voted...total tally minus Mr. rejected is more than registered voters by 2K. 2008 may be just on th corner, I'm going to stock on raw cabbages at least they last unlike sukuma. I am already rationing food.Kwangu hakuna breakfast from today, lunch is boiled cassava with porridge and supper is ugali omena. My stocks to watch are omena, smoked fish, dried vegetables bought from Delemere, mboco, mbembe, beans, nduma, fluor from posho mill,Pakistan rice.Stocks I won't touch with a pole are cooking fat, sugar, sausages.

Provisional vs Official Results....
My understanding is that the Provisional Results that were coming in were per polling Station withing a constituency. If constituency X has 50 polling stations and 30 stations had submitted their results electronically, of course the tally will be different since the Official Results is at the constituency level and is inclusive of ALL the 50 polling stations in Constituency X.
However I would want to know the difference in Registered voters in the Official Results viz a viz the "Provisional" Voter registration numbers.
If am to give the IEBC the benefit of doubt I would make a guess and say, the figure were affected by several issues like:
>The figures given on 18th Dec were projections and not based on exact figures. >More people registered on the last day after projections were made. >The double registered voters altered the register a bit. >The guys who were sharing BVR kits may have been for two polling stations neighbouring each other but in different neighbouring constituencies
There can be a lot of reasons, but I would like to hear what the IEBC have to say.
