The only reason you'll not count my vote is because its not clear whom I voted hence not valid but it doesn't change the fact that I showed up with the intention of selecting a leader.

This will require full house supreme court judgement/decision - 7 wo/man bench and one of them is on maternity leave.

There is big difference between "vote" and " ballot" as used in the Constitution and the Elections Act. Once a ballot is rejected it is void and ceases being a "vote cast" in an election and cannot therefore be taken into account. You can take that to the bank.
