ever heard of the word political analysis ????there's a whole degree course for it even a PHD so get a life men and stop being also boring ...make your life fun by speculating en analyzing

From wikipedia :
Quote:
Propaganda is a form of communication that is aimed towards influencing the attitude of a community toward some cause or position by presenting only one side of an argument. Propaganda is usually repeated and dispersed over a wide variety of media in order to create the chosen result in audience attitudes.

As opposed to impartially providing information, propaganda, in its most basic sense, presents information primarily to influence an audience. Propaganda often presents facts selectively (thus possibly lying by omission) to encourage a particular synthesis, or uses loaded messages to produce an emotional rather than rational response to the information presented. The desired result is a change of the attitude toward the subject in the target audience to further a political, religious or commercial agenda. Propaganda can be used as a form of ideological or commercial warfare.

On the other hand political analysis is the interpretation of political events through opinions.

Spreading propaganda and political analysis are two distinct things. I doubt you can differentiate the two.

Gone through the 54 pages and 1000+ comments on this thread, No one seems to mention the fact that RAO leads in 24 counties, Uhuru 22 and MaDVD 1, runoff here we come, i stand to be corrected since i do not have the exact % by which they all lead i.e do they meet the 25% required?

You can lead in 30 countes but lose tha majority vote.

@Mpenzi, was wondering if they had garnered the 25% minimum required in atleast half of the counties, since i know you could equally have the 50%+1 and still not meet this other requirement and hence warrant a run-off.

Hint 1. Bett and co. wonder where bomas is getting its tallies from
Hint 2. Mutula n Bett visit IEBC
Hint 3. Kalonzo looking calm cool n collected holds a polite press conference
Hint 4. Bett insists electronic tallys be considered as per the law..
Hint 4b. Jubilee is silent.......
Hint 5. Isaack looks like he's seen ghosts.... demands kura ziletwe physically
Hint 6. McR confident and jumpy all over Wazua...

Ya kuku ni mayai... ya dunia ni maajabu...

Kidero vs Waititu anybody?

my 2cents

Both jubilee and Cord already know final results from their tallying centers and its not all rosy for jubilee, that is why they are crying faul over rejected votes inclution. Ideally this ought to affect both sides but why is it only jubilee that is complaining.

Maybe because they want to win it in round 1 as the inclusion of the rejected votes would put them below the 50% +1.

Jubilee is okwardly silent except for the complaint. Have you ever seen Ruto silent over such an issue.

Kalonzo's press brief is also telling

Maybe because he knows they are winning and there is no need to make noise. Maybe he knows with ICC trial still to come it would not do to inflame emotions. Maybe...

It's good to engage mental faculties a bit. A candidates only needs to get AT LEAST 25% in 24 counties. The two leading are way above this.

Again, CORD leads in mostly sparsely populated counties. eg coast, nothern kenya. So that doesn't really matter.

@CLK....the requirement is to have at least 25% in at least 24 counties. So both RAO and UMK qualify. Not MADVD.

@XYzee:- The silence in Jubilee could just be a demonstration of mature politics and use of proper channel to air concerns.Raising issues thru the press not healthy at this time due to anxiety levels.Hakuna Kool Aid za kutosha. So tutumie natural method ya kurelax as we wait for updates.

I think there is a problem, and it does not require too much patience. If we have results for other positions, why not president? McReggae was onto something yesterday, and watching Hassan confirmed my doubts.

@KulaRaha

The reason is simple

The returning officers have all the results.

however the returning officers can only certify the county results

The presidential can only be certified at bomas.

So you will have the Mp with his certificate in mashinani. Then the returning officer will have to bring his presidential count to Nairobi.

Some results such as Nairobi may take time. I know because I've been informed they are still counting. the governor.

So essentially, nothing changed from 2007?

What’s the difference between Kivuitu (RIP) and Hassan? This tension is not good for the country after being promised results in 48hrs.
