More than 70 of the 290 Returning Officers have arrived at the Bomas Election Centre and are now filling their results. More final official results will be read out shortly.
Conventional thinkers waste time building shelters when they are unnecessary and then have no shelters when they need them the most. Socionomists do the opposite.

I can't fall for the trap you are setting. I HAVE NOT POSTED ANY COMMENT THAT SUGGESTS THAT IEBC IS RIGGING. Why do you get so hot under the collar for that?

@ Mnandii...Dude, unless you have evidence hii ndio porojo @ Alma is telling you off for! both quotes above are from you. I can see you're not a newcomer here but I can tell you're not an ardent contributor to this fora so maybe you need to know that here we provide proof. Unless you have credible sources from which you're spreading this "news" from you need to take a chill pill.

I have a simple question for media houses. Why don't they have their own reporters that they have sent around the country collate all the data from the polling stations in their area since they have already been declared and all that is left is to send them to Nairobi?

I see reporters on TV read results from different tallying centers. Why not have an editor summarize all of them?

This is what happened in 07, one media house was tallying using the figures on the ground and was showing one bus way ahead of the other, only for ECK to show otherwise and hell broke loose. This time round everyone in this thing had to sign some code of ethics of some sort which states that they will not declare results that have not been released officially by IEBC and thats why McR cannot release whatever he has much as it has been relayed by agents on the ground.

I think there is a problem, and it does not require too much patience. If we have results for other positions, why not president? McReggae was onto something yesterday, and watching Hassan confirmed my doubts.

So... panel beating imeisha?

People should stop being naive... a clear process shouldnt have such hiccups...
my take
people had their winning strategy and rushed to send results. strategy was countered... upon realisation.. mathematics had to be readjusted... but no matter the adjustments.. bado imekataa.. turnout my dear friends... TURNOUT!!!!

@KulaRaha

The reason is simple

The returning officers have all the results.

however the returning officers can only certify the county results

The presidential can only be certified at bomas.

So you will have the Mp with his certificate in mashinani. Then the returning officer will have to bring his presidential count to Nairobi.

Some results such as Nairobi may take time. I know because I've been informed they are still counting. the governor.

Does this mean that councillor results are being filed together with the presidential reports?
