Public opinion polls are no substitute for thought - so says wazua. Strange, i thought.
I thought further -the ICC has played us big time and we fell for it like blind men and women. Of what significance would be cases against 2 individuals in their private capacity especially if they come from a country whose president likes globe trotting every other week, diverting attention to himself? What if these 2 individuals are president and deputy president? Now that will be some Political and public relations coup for ICC and the west! So how do they get what they want? They send one carson to just talk about 'consequences' and voila kenyams obey while thinking they can and are disobeying. Kenyams produce this president and deputy president who are in office. Or are on their way to obey at least. If things stay the way they are ICC and the body that established it, whoever they are, are assured of projecting that they deal with top notch people only who are preferably still seeking to cling to power. That could be why Muthauras case is suddenly not attractive enough. He may not be producing any longer the attention to interest the constituency of ICC which is the citizens of the west. We have been had hard. We have been owned. We have been outplayed badly. We have been outclassed as if we were rookies in world politics.
