When guys hated on Kivuitu, I asked how many had ever dealt with such a huge logistical problem.

I can understand their quagmire when computer systems fail. From the users to the technology, it can happen.

Unfortunately for Hassan, the major things failed.

Now problem is how patient are Kenyans really? Obviously this results will be coming in Wednesday and full result comes out on Thursday.

I have a simple question for media houses. Why don't they have their own reporters that they have sent around the country collate all the data from the polling stations in their area since they have already been declared and all that is left is to send them to Nairobi?

I see reporters on TV read results from different tallying centers. Why not have an editor summarize all of them?

so in other words the provisional results we have been seeing are of no consequence only those physical brought in by returning officers (form 16A?) are credible.

Hassan is acting very nervous, repeating himself that results are tallying. Whats going on?

I don't think he's rested. Plus, the whole situation is emotionally draining.

Let's go slow on him, and have some patience.

The media hses have reporters yes but they are not allowed by law (IEBC?) to relay them. Results must come from IEBC to avoid a mess like 2007.
Conventional thinkers waste time building shelters when they are unnecessary and then have no shelters when they need them the most. Socionomists do the opposite.

Party nominations gave us a feel of what we'd experience in these elections, and so far, I believe IEBC has done well.

Sasa kazi kwa IG to ensure the results get to IEBC as they should be.

At least this stops akina Mcreggae coming up with numbers from their heads.

Sasa kesho ni public holiday kama leo kweli?

I am not saying they call the whole presidential race. Just post the presidential results for the specific polling station, ward or constituency that has already been called by the presiding officer on up since they are the ones who have the authority to call the races at that level. If you can call the MP for an area, it would suffice then that you have the presidential results for the same area too.

For example, it looks like most the seats for Nyeri county for MPs, Senator, Governor etc have been called. So why not in parallel take the presidential figures announced then?

We seriously need parallel voter tabulation by multiple sources to verify the official IEBC numbers that are eventually announced. This is what happens in other countries.
