He must know people. He refused to listen to the advice of his friends and people of Gatanga. But he put up a good show in a very uphill task

I wish him well. He did well as the MP for Gatanga and I hope there will be governors who will engage him in delivering great results in their counties.

Let it not be forgotten though, that he made a great political miscalculation. He started a marathon by sprinting. He had a view of himself and his chances that was false. He overestimated his value and forgot to see people as they are. He was naive and idealistic and hoped that voters are 100% rational. He misjudged the electorate, he failed to connect.

We get the leaders we deserve. PK was taking about real issues and Kenyans are still stuck on ethnic math. The issues will not go away, and only time will tell who the real winners and losers are.
Peace in our Homeland.

Kenya will regret not engaging this guy. Though I think his campaign should have done more, they werent aggressive at all. Hopefully he runs again in 2018!

@ Thimioni and with all due respect to PK, he did'nt stand a chance. He was pegging his hopes on Diaspora (Who are Facebook fanatics) and possibility of ICC backlash. None materialised.

He has over 200K facebook likes on his page, but that will not translate into votes. He will be lucky if he gets 100k (half)
