True. Could'nt believe IEBC actually admitting that the colors could have been different! How much would it have cost to put just the colors to real voters? I actually had to be assisted so as not to miss the right boxes!


What I found most difficult was carrying six large pieces of paper, marking them, then sorting to try and figure out what goes where.

I would have preferred getting 2 papers, voting then proceeding to the other 2 candiates and voting.

As it is it was a real nightmare and I am not surprised at the large number of rejected votes.


And heading of ballots!! why not just put in big bold SENATOR...

all the 319,752 rejected votes are presidential. Others have not been factored yet.

Am getting an error at http://www.iebc.or.ke/ ;

"Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL"

What could be the problem?

@Shortgun......I saw the KTN flash.It was between 12.45pm and 12.58pm.I called the station immediately and failed to get the editor on duty.They asked for my number and called me after about 20mins to explain that they will issue a formal apology.The guy who was handling the show was Ali Manzu.

I also spoke to IEBC on the same.

Consindering we are not yet done 50% tallying, the Candidate who picks the 3rd position is "Rejected" with over 600K Votes.

My worry is a repeat of what happened to electoral clerks in 2007. Most got very tired after having been up late for 2 or 3 nights. Some started miscounting votes, you’d see a guy licking his finger counting to a two hundred then he loses his concentration and arguments begin between agents.
