I'm not his supporter but frankly, I wish this would end round 1.

How many vote does he need to lay this to rest? Is it 50%+1 of votes cast (incl spoilt), or just 50%=1 of good votes?

We need to move on fast. Nyongo and co can go to hell with their nonsense, sometimes its good to accept you lost.

If we believe (and I do given the lines I encountered) we had 80% turnout, that means 11.40M votes were cast.

UK therefore needs 5.7M + 1 to win.

I hope it ends first round, whoever wins.

The landscape of politics will change. In future anyone who wants to have a go at the presidency, will have to be a senator/governor first. This will be after proving at the senate or governor level what they are capable of delivering for the country.......and deep pockets to run a campaign of the magnitude we have just witnessed.

How much did the following use to campaign:
- Mudavadi
- Kiyiapi
- Karua
- Kenneth
- Dida

Dida used a FRACTION of Muite's fraction. Yet he is much better than all except Uhuru!

@Kularaha:-The 80% turnout was not uniformly distributed. Some especially in strongholds had over 80% na wengine around 60%to 80%.So my take with that in mind is UMK needs 5.3M and so needs 3.1 M to march to Statehouse.

With those votes he will have around 51%
