with the independent commissions and offices it will not be biz as usual for whoever wins. Also expect a return of opposition politics..
I may be wrong..but then I could be right

Are we talking about the same Man who repossessed grabbed land that was meant for roads despite heavy opposition?

There is something called STATE, it was formed and defined in 1684 at westphallia conference.Among its unique xticts are:
1. Sovereignity
2. Bureaucracy.
Of importance here is bureaucracy, which loosely we call Government, is headed by a head of state.
3. every Tom Dick and Harry works for the head of state, including the competent commission you are talking about.
My point:
Anybody running for being Head of this state, Kenya is very right to say that he will do Whatever these commissions are suppose to do coz the commissions work for and on behalf of Head of state.
NB: i am apolitical

Maybe in Sudan, u do not know the constitution 'the people' and the bodies created by it are not subject to interference? This is not nyayo days dont take us back there with weak 'apolitical' ideas.

I will go further. What you call 'the people' is called popular sovereighnity (where the bureaucracy and authority is shared between the King and the people).
The presidency represents the STATE. But everything you do, everything including giving birth to young ones is for the state. It is called "Effective authority over a geographical region". tell me which bill becomes an Act without his consent?

Kindly read my post again and try to understand it, at intellectual level.
Do you know that a country can impose the maximum number of Kids you can have? And there's nothing you'll do.
Have you read what is written in your passport apart from your names?. It is a plea from your president to another prezzo to allow you, the subject, to get into that country.

Let them show us where that commission of lands or whatever can do anything they want without recognizing the institution of the presidency.

How is a mzee who spends most time dying grey hair black and has a valve for removing excess gossiping pressure build-up(making pssiiiiii sound when pressed) installed on his head supposed to micro manage a process where experts have been selected by Kenyans, parliament included, with specific land econ degrees and phds who are ready to wrack their brains independently and solve this problems? Kenya does not have/need the 'baba na mama' Presidents any more, haven't you seen Kibaki being ordered to sign bills and countermanded? There is no state of emergency although I suspect Rao may declare such states to undermine constitutional bodies as his sycophants are saying here and redistribute land as he please, he will need to suspend the constitution to do this which I have no doubt he can including making himself a life president to have time to personally solve national issues.

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly "tendawili". On a serious note, this betrays the fact that given a chance, he doesn't believe in Constitutional Authority. He lies a lot too, last week he denied having called for "mass action" in 2008 and went ahead to claim that "the Kiambaa church attackers were not ODM supporters". He may be lying even now on this matter of the Land Commission.
