anyone willing to bet with me on the win? My bet is that Jubilee will win with 52% against CORD 43%.

How much and the umpire????

@4archs final percentage is a bit high..
Mine comes to 51% for Jubilee in the first round

@McReggae... not that i saw what i wanted.. its just the simplicity of numbers and turnout..

All Uhuruto need is a good turn out 85% in Central province counties and 65% in strong RV areas and the Maths is done..

If we take a 100% turnout, and break it down county by county.
give 99% of votes in Central and 70% of votes in RV (Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nandi, Baringo, Laikipia, Nakuru, Narok, Kajiado)
to Jubilee. Then give 60% to the other counties remaining from RV to Jubilee.. you have a gameshot.. 50% + 1

Reading these posts...starting to really believe that people see and hear what they want to (on both sides BTW). Regarding Mutahi's "Tyranny of Numbers", he simply said that Uhuru would get more votes, but no-one will win outright, and that was ASSUMING 100% Tribal voting pattern behaviour (which is in no way guaranteed, though with some limited historical precedent).
Next, he said for Round 2, Raila would have to work much harder than Uhuru ("4 times as hard"). That's it....and you know Raila is not averse to hard work! So Jubilants, just means one person has an easier run than others. Corded folk, just means OAR needs to sweat.

An opinion poll released by Consumer Insight research firm says Jubilee Alliance Uhuru Kenyatta emerged the main gainer, while Peter Kenneth and Martha Karua were losers in Monday night’s presidential debate.

The poll after the debate says that Kenyatta scored 33 percent while Cord’s Raila Odinga scored 25 percent points. Kenneth came in third at 18 percent, Mohammed Dida 10 percent and Karua 7 percent.

The firm’s Research Analyst says Kenyatta was the only candidate who converted a significant number of viewers into his voters.
