I believe the issue here was not about the evictions but on resettling the squatters. The settlers and farmers who were in the Mau forest had bought parcels of land complete with Government title deeds. Since then wamekuwa IDPs RAO alifikiria mambo yao late last year, probably to gain some votes from the region. You can't really blame them for despising the guy.

Not really there was a committee chaired by Former RV PC formed to address the issue.

I thought it is clear to all of you that this was used as a bait to nail him politically.

Politics aside should those people have been allowed to continue destroying the forest?
