30,000 acres.....in one county....out of 47 counties is no joke. I'm sure they bought the land willing buyer willing seller. Ha!

30,000 acreas? And you fellows are busy buying tu quarter acres. hehe.

Mollases and people owning shares that they don't know? Ha!

I was in Goldenburg only after I was out of it?

Kenyans are a very funny lot.

I loved Dida. He reminded people that Thika road is owned by one family. Ha.

He also reminded that woman from Kibra who was still asking serekali inisaidie that Jesus will come back before that happens. She needed to go back and elect good leaders.

There is no better answer than that.

If you think UK, Raila, MDV are going to help you solve the problems of land in this country, shauri yako.

I will vote my conscience and I will look my kids in the eyes and tell them.

"I know there is no way in hell that the Kenyatta family bought 30000 acres of land with cold hard cash in one county called Taveta without being some injustice somewhere. It's just my feeling and I will stick to it."

That debate was the best debate ever in Kenya. Now let the Kenyans decide how they wish to live. In tribal cocoons or solving issues that matter.

Vote wisely and I hope and pray for everyone. Goodbye and Goodluck.
Jose: If I make it through this thug life, I'll see you one day. The Lord is the only way to stop the hurt.

UK must have really enjoyed the corruption debate, at one point hata one of the moderators tried to get him involved.

Kumbe Kibra only has 160,000 residents and not the crazy figures we are usually given here by some Wazuans.

Kibra can't have only 160, 000 people.....so many do not have IDs....now we have 103,000 registered voters, how can the total population then be 160K people, some of the people are even registered in Langata in places like undugu, shillanga, mashimoni, soweto, migingo etc....ignorant is PK on this matter!!!

This has been in the public domain for the last 3 years unless you are such forgetful. Though the figure is slightly more than 160K.
Ans its not OAR who inflated the figures, OAR just quoted the figure usually peddled by the civil right activists in order to WIN compassionate dollars from abroad.
Some activist even quoted the number to be a whopping 1,000,000 heads!!!!

I don't think its ignorant to state a figure backed up by a source.

Asking/Hyping for acerage of land one has/owns is same as discussing the weight rather than value of someones money, pretty dumb huh?. The pre and post debate economics analyst explained the principle of land productive value vs land size so did madvd, uhuru, and kiyapi explain this principle during the debate. It is sad that we have wazuans who cant grasp such simple economic concepts and are hyping the issue out of ignorance. 10000 acres in ukambani is cheaper or currently less valuable than an acre in Nairobi town. Some of this 'large tracts' of Kenyatta land is in semi arid areas and is only viable for ranching while some was in deserts where wazungus who sold it to them were prospecting for gems and it is outherwise useless even to squatters and the landless. Leave issues of land to the National Land Commission simple.
