@Tycho: you may have answered this already. But please indulge me.

What is NOT illusion?

Let me be charitable and attempt this one.

We say My name? My hand? My head? My thoughts. Now supposing we gave you another name.. Will the 'My' change? If we cut off your hand, will 'My' change? What if we finally cut off your head, changed your thoughts.. What will happen to 'My'

One would argue that 'I' is the soul haboured in your body. The danger is equating that 'I' with God and negating the need for Him. One then ceases to be God's creation and becomes god himself. Its why we have cults mushrooming everywhere including here in Wazua. A small god with his lost followers

Asi! Mboss, those are big guns. I see you've answered the question emphatic vs judgemental?

@Mukiri has answered well on what is real. The only thing he hasn't understood is what is its essence.

The 'I' gives way to the illusion of an 'another cult'. Now you only need to quote the Bible and think more.

'I am, who I am'.

Good work Mukiri!

@tycho - The 'I' does exist and it acts on real things. What differentiates between what I believe in and what I have faith in is,you can leave room for illusion in belief but not faith. Finality in terms of conclusively was in terms of defining what is.God exists, life exists, reality exists, illusion exists but to define them I can't at most just aspects of them.Eternity is like perfection, you never see the end of it but the pursuit is pleasurable and rewarding.

What has been a blurred image will now be clearly seen.

Once the 'I' is established, or for @Mukiri's sake, when the self is lost for the Self, then everything becomes real. Even perfection is attainable.

The language 'instinct' is simply the I seeking stability.

So at most times when we speak, we exhibit our inner psychological states for criticism or affirmation in order to establish reality.

But in perfection, speech is more about revealing and establishing the other.

Perfection, is thus the power to name.

Adam was given the power to name, thus, he had the capacity for perfection. He was created perfect.

But the devil corrupted him.

And when redemption came, Man's perfection was re-established.

This, is the meaning of being 'born again'. Perfection.

Is that what struck a raw nerve? I'm curious did you equate yourself with the 'god' or the 'follower'?

Exodus 20:3-6, Matthew 22:36-38
Chunga sana! Show me where you spend your time and I will show you your god. Show me where you spend your money and I will show you your god. There is your explanation.

Genesis 2:7 God blew your 'I' into you. That is all you need to know. Adam and Eve sought answers, something your are fervently doing. You know how that ended Genesis Chapter 3.

Our mission here is simple Matthew 6:33. The rest, Deuteronomy 29:29.
